Support for targeted notifications landing users to specified URL

As part of our ongoing effort to equip our web version with tools to send targeted intervention, we have added support for push notification which can redirect users to specific URL/Web address. Such interventions are multipurpose in nature and serve the following purposes:

  • Communicating feature release information
  • Highlighting important admin messages & interventions
  • Driving user education & adoption

How to access this functionality?

This feature can be accessed in the web dashboard from the ‘Manage Users’ section under ‘Settings’ tab. Users can select one or multiple users in their hierarchy and click the “Send” button. In the Alert tab select notification type as ‘Push’ and in ‘Type’ select ‘Show Browser Content’. There will be a URL section to input the destination where the user will be redirected when the notification is clicked.

Accessibility of the functionality

This feature will be accessible to all clients via the Vymo Web Dashboard as per permission granted by their admin. This will be available to all clients who have configured their Manage Users sections. If you do not see the functionality please reach out your admin.
